Mike Craddock
Mike Craddock is a director of the Further Education Partnership with extensive experience in Further Education, especially in MIS and Curriculum, having worked in the sector for over 30 years. The Further Education Partnership are establishing a reputation for delivering high calibre, professional services and high quality interim and consultancy services to the FE sector at very competitive rates.
Mike also provides interim MIS services and operational support for MIS, including; software implementation projects, department and process reviews, delivery of BI Solutions (MIS) and dashboard/kpi reporting.
Mike Craddock has previously worked as an interim MIS consultant delivering the following projects;
- BMET – MIS restructure support.
- Southampton City College – MIS review.
- Canterbury College – Civica REMS implementation support.
- Barnfield College – MIS review and ILR / FIS support.

Chris Hick
Chris Hick is one of our senior MIS business consultant with extensive management experience within the Further Education sector. Chris is highly experienced in the use of a range of MIS software, SQL Server Reporting Services and Google docs. He has excellent knowledge of the ESFA Funding methodology and a proven track record in supporting colleges to deliver to regulatory requirements and MIS management including ILR production, Audit management, curriculum planning, enrolment, exams and reporting. Chris has experience in the market leading MIS software systems (e.g., ProSolution, UNIT-e, EBS etc) and has also supported colleges through mergers and system migrations.

John Maher
John Maher is a director of the Further Education Partnership with extensive experience in Further Education, especially in MIS, having worked in the sector for almost 20 years. John also provides interim MIS services and operational support for MIS, including; curriculum planning, software implementation projects, department and process reviews, delivery of BI Solutions (MIS) and dashboard/KPI reporting.

Andy Williams
Andy Williams is a director of the Further Education Partnership with extensive experience in Further Education, especially in MIS, having worked in the sector for 20 years plus. Andy joins us following a successful period as Chief Operating Officer at the Brighton Film School and prior to that Director of Information Services at Croydon College.
Andy Williams has also worked as an interim MIS consultant supporting;

Andy was VP Corporate Services at City of Brighton College (now Greater Brighton Metropolitan)

Mark Powell
Mark Powell is one of our senior MIS business consultant, having previously worked in a variety of roles in the FE Sector, up to director level. He has had a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes, as a high calibre interim MIS consultant, for example moving one provider from a position where the ESFA had clawed back £800k to achieving 100% of its funding target and helping to increase the college’s success rate by 14%. Mark is well regarded by senior managers he has worked with and he has a very sound knowledge of ESFA funding and audit requirements.
Mark is technically very gifted, able to write operational and strategic reports, bespoke curriculum planning software and excellent in project managing MIS software implementations, UNITe and ProSolution. Prior to working in Further Education, Mark worked in the IT Industry as a Data Analyst.
Mark’s technical skills include; SQL Server, MS SSRS, SISS and SASS, Report-writing, VBA and Visual Basic, ESFA Funding – all strands, Statistical Analysis, Microsoft Excel – expert use

We have a number of high calibre interim consultants who add considerable value to the work of our full-time team. Many of our interims are highly experienced and invariably have extensions to their contracts at the end of their term. They deliver excellent results allowing senior managers to delegate tasks and projects in the certain knowledge that planned outcomes will be achieved.
Location
The Further Education Partnership operates nationally and we have offices in the North and the South, with interim consultants supporting colleges and training providers across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.


Work with us
We are looking to recruit both full-time and associate MIS consultants. With considerable experience in the post-16 education environment (FE, HE and Training) it is essential to have a comprehensive understanding of funding methodologies, statutory returns, audit and inspection requirements and MIS processes.
Additionally it would be desirable to have highly developed technical skills in MIS software SQL/Azure, C++, report-writing, VLE (e.g. Moodle/Canvas), data migration, dashboard design and creation. You should be prepared to travel widely and also be able to use a variety of remote working tools, establishing and maintaining timely and effective communication with clients.
